Canadian police have issued a strong public warning after releasing photographs of 11 suspected gangsters, urging citizens to stay away from them amid a sharp rise in gang-related violence. Of the 11 individuals named, nine are of Punjabi origin, according to authorities.
The warning was issued by the British Columbia police in response to an ongoing wave of gang shootings and multiple homicide incidents reported across the province. Police officials said the situation has escalated to a level that poses a serious risk not only to those involved in criminal networks but also to the general public.
Speaking on the matter, Assistant Commander Manny Mann of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) said there is a high likelihood that rival gang members may target these individuals, increasing the danger of collateral harm to innocent bystanders. He emphasized that members of the public should avoid any contact with the listed individuals and immediately report suspicious activity to law enforcement.
