The Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating a shooting incident targeting a business in Surrey early Sunday morning. Police confirmed that no injuries were reported, though the incident is believed to be linked to extortion.

According to SPS, officers responded to a report of shots fired at approximately 2:30 a.m. on December 14 at a business located in the 8000 block of 120 Street.

Police Investigation Underway
Surrey Police Service stated that the shooting is suspected to be extortion-related. Investigators have launched a full inquiry and are examining all possible angles, including motive and suspect movement before and after the incident.
Police officers secured the scene and collected evidence in the early hours following the shooting. Media Waves was present near the scene, close to Paratha 2 Pasta, as investigators carried out their work.

SPS is urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward. This includes witnesses, nearby residents, or business owners who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the shooting.
